- 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup Red Onion, thinly sliced
- ½ Red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
- Olive oil for brushing
Notes
Prepare the Paneer Tikka
- In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, tandoori masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, vegetable oil, salt, and lemon juice to make the marinade.
- Add the cubed paneer to the marinade and coat it well. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate it for a few hours for better flavor.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan. Thread the marinated paneer onto wooden skewers.
- Grill the paneer skewers until they are lightly charred and cooked through, turning them occasionally. This should take about 10-15 minutes.
- Remove the paneer from the skewers and set aside.
Assemble the Pizza
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) or the temperature specified on your naan bread package.
- Place the naan bread on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Brush the naan with a little olive oil to prevent it from getting too crispy.
- Spread a generous amount of tandoori sauce over each naan bread.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the sauce.
- Arrange the grilled paneer pieces, red onion slices, and red bell pepper slices on the pizza.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake the Pizza
- Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the naan are golden brown.
Garnish and Serve
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.
- Slice the Indian-inspired pizza into wedges and serve hot.
